Andrew Yuen
Andrew graduated from Manchester Metropolitan University in the UK with his Masters of Physiotherapy. He has worked with a diverse group of individuals, ranging from post surgical, orthopedics, sports, motor vehicle accidents, post op hip and knee replacements, amputees, geriatrics, Manchester United Youth academy players, and even 1 Love Island UK celebrity!
In 2014, Andrew suffered a motor vehicle accident in Thailand requiring 38 stitches, 10 days hospitalization, and a Grade 2 ACL/MCL injury. His passion for helping others stems from this incident. After 10 years and 47 countries backpacking through Europe, Asia, South America, Africa, and Australia, he has returned home to help others.
Andrew has given back to the physiotherapy community by taking on 9 UBC Physiotherapy students and running for a vacant Board of Directors seat for the College of Physiotherapy in BC (CPTBC). He utilizes a combination of exercises, manual therapy, dry needling, modalities, taping, and education. In his free time, Andrew enjoys trying new restaurants, hiking in the mountains, training his dog, planning his next trip, and staying active. He hopes to help you reach your goals and get you back to doing the things you love.
