Medical Services Plan (MSP) Claims

MSP Premium Assistance is a program run by the Ministry of Health to help subsidize care for those whose income falls below a certain threshold. If you’re unsure if you qualify, we can check for you quickly as long as we have your PHN (care card number), date of birth, and name. We can do this over the phone or via email.

If you qualify, you have access to a subsidized rate for up to 10 total combined visits per calendar year for the following services: physiotherapy, massage therapy, chiropractic, acupuncture, and naturopathic medicine.

If you have coverage under another insurer as well, you are welcome to submit the invoice for any fees you have paid to them for consideration of reimbursement. However, we aren’t able to direct bill these fees.

Here’s how the fees work for subsidized services:

• Physiotherapy: Physiotherapy sessions are offered at $50 per session.
• Massage Therapy: Massage therapy sessions are offered at the private rate, less $23 (this is the amount that MSP pays).
• Chiropractic: Chiropractic sessions are offered at the private rate, less $23 (this is the amount that MSP pays).
• Acupuncture: Acupuncture sessions are offered at the private rate, less $23 (this is the amount that MSP pays).
• Naturopathic Medicine: Naturopathic medicine sessions are offered at the private rate, less $23 (this is the amount that MSP pays).
